GOODWIN MEMORIAL BAPTIST SUNDAY SCHOOL
We are a community of dedicated teachers and staff who are committed to the instruction and training of children and adults in the word of God. We are given a mandate and challenge as believers in Christ to faithfully and diligently instruct our children who have been entrusted to us in the truth of the word of God.
The three primary goals of Sunday School are: evangelizing, edifying and equipping our members with the word of God.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 states, “And these words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Sunday School Ministry and staff meet on the 2nd Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 pm. The gift of teaching and the love for God’s word and for God’s children are what is needed to join the Sunday School Ministry.
Class Schedule - Sunday, 9:30am
Classroom 1 – Preschool: ages 3-5 years.
Classroom 2 - Primary: grades 1-2
Classroom 6 – Middlers: grades 3-4
Classroom 7 – Juniors : grades 5-6
Classroom 3 – Teens: grades 7 – 12
Classroom 5 – Young Adults ages 18-26
Trustee Room - Men’s Class
Board Room - Adult Class Coed
Sanctuary Overflow – Organ Side: Senior Adult Class – Co-ed
