Sunday School - Sundays 9:30am
Goal: To share with you God’s Word and to be able to answer your questions and concerns as you continue to be educated. Lessons take place each Sunday morning; starting in the Church Sanctuary for devotions. You will then move to your respective classes:
Preschool, Primary, Middlers, teens, Young Adults, Adults and Seniors.
Transportation will be provided by our Transportation Ministry if you call 717.238.4400 before Friday.
Sunday School Lesson for May
May 6, 2012 – The Bread of Life – John 6:22-35
May 13, 2012 – The Good Shepherd – John 10:7-18
May 20, 2012 – The Resurrection and the Life – John 11:17-27
May 27, 2012 – The Way, the Truth, and the Life – John 14:1-14
We are a community of dedicated teachers and staff who are committed to the instruction and training of children and adults in the word of God. We are given a mandate and challenge as believers in Christ to faithfully and diligently instruct our children who have been entrusted to us in the truth of the word of God.
The three primary goals of Sunday School are: evangelizing, edifying and equipping our members with the word of God.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 states, “And these words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Sunday School Ministry and staff meet on the 2nd Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 pm. The gift of teaching and the love for God’s word and for God’s children are what is needed to join the Sunday School Ministry.

Goodwin provides child-focused teachings of the Bible which are flexible friendly and fun. As well as our church members, we welcome all visitors between the ages of 6-12. Through Children’s Church programs, boys and girls in our church and community can build healthy relationships with caring Christian adults, peers, and most importantly, Jesus Christ. Our Christian Education team actively promotes the values of Goodwin to our children, added with the understanding of church etiquette; and respect for God. Each child should come to Children’s Church prepared with their bibles. Any child who does not have a bible will be given one to help them connect with our Lord
